I’m that kind of wife

Hello lovely readers!

Have I mentioned to you all that I am going to Florida in 16 9 days now? I’m just messing with you, I know I have. I’m really excited if you can’t tell. Anyway today’s post is going to be all about how I made my own shirts for Disney.

Since I have known I was going to Disney I started looking on Etsy for cute shirts I could buy to wear while at the parks and a matching shirt for my husband as well. Yes like the title said I am that kind of wife. We have tons of matching things and I love it. Last year on our honeymoon we wore matching shirts each day we went to the parks and we also have matching shoes, jackets and sunglasses now.  I also knew I wanted to lose weight before going and I would need to order shirts around May or so. So instead of buying shirts that are kind of expensive, plus shipping, I thought why not make my own shirts. I have a Cricut machine and I can probably buy SVG files on Etsy.  So thats what I decided to do since I would be able to make them the way I want and everything.

The supplies I needed to make them:

Shirts-I got mine at JoAnns. The gray ones are for my husband and I for matching shirts, and the pink one is for a second shirt for me since we are going for two days.

Next I got Iron On Vinyl from JoAnns. We were originally going to use Dark Blue. We tried it, but we messed our shirts up 😦 we we went back and go new shirts in the same color but got Black Iron on instead.img_1911.jpg

I then bought the SVG files off Etsy and then printed the files off in the size I wanted on the Iron on.

Here are the final products:

Hello lovely readers!

Guess who’s back? If you guessed me, you are right! I am sorry I am so bad at this. I have tons of ideas written down and days to write them, but then I got lazy and never wrote them. But I have missed it, like I always say and I am back, hopefully for a longer.

Today I am going to share with you some mini hauls from my birthday and what I have gotten for my honeymoon so far.

This year for my birthday I didn’t really ask for much, but I did ask for things for my honeymoon or just money.  From my fiancé he got my a weekender bag from Vineyard Vines. I was going to use it as my carry on for the plane, but once I got it, it was too big to fit under the seat. I plan to still use it though for small trips and when I go to Clam Lake.

IMG_0097I got the Heritage Patchwork weekender, but now they have the American Cup Heritage Weekender. They are pretty pricy, but they have lots of room and are great quality so it will hold up for a long time.

It wouldn’t be a birthday without getting money as well. With some of my money I planned to buy myself a Fitbit. Instead though my lovely fiancé bought me my Fibit as well. I got the new Alta Fitbit HR in coral. I am loving it and its so much better to count my steps instead of carrying my phone all the time. It’s small to compared to the other ones and perfect for my small wrist.

Now since I didn’t have to buy my Fitbit, I went to JoAnn’s and bought myself some goodies.

I also plan to buy some things from Blitsy that I have been eyeing for a long time, once I get more money on payday.

Also in 2 months I get married and I have been buying things for my honeymoon. One thing I wanted for sure that I have been eying is the L.L Bean Boat Tote. I have seen many posts on blogs about and how great they are. So I finally bought one in May and I love it. I haven’t used it yet, but I plan to save it and use it as my carry on for the plane or for sure my beach bag.

I got the large one in navy with long handles. And of course I had to get my new monogram on it. I bought a beach blanket from L.L bean as well that is small enough to carry in my suitcase and easy to pack in my beach bag as well. Its pretty big though when its spread out, and I love to that it has pockets where you can put sand so it won’t blow away.

I plan to get some cute shirts from Etsy too for Bradley and I, which I will show in a haul once I get them and if I get anything else.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post!!

Hello lovely readers!

Today I am going to share with you my stamp collection, and not postage stamps, the acrylic stamps. I love using stamps not only in my planner as you have seen but in my scrapbook as well. I like using my alphabet stamps to do titles for my scrapbook pages, decorative ones to decorate around my pages and word ones to stamps on pictures or around as well. For an upcoming post, maybe I will show you a scrapbook page and how I use my stamps on a page and the process of how I put my layout together. For now here is my stamp collection. Enjoy!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my collection, and come back Saturday for my next post about the game Lego dimensions (what it is) and my lego sets for the game. Have a great rest of your day and rest of the week.

P.S. 278 days till my wedding

Fall Inspiration from Pinterest

Hello lovely readers!

As of yesterday it is officially fall! I was planning on posting this yesterday, but I have been sick since Wednesday. I started working in a new building and room last week and I came home on Tuesday with a sore throat. Then on Wednesday I still had the sore throat and by the end of the day I had a fever of 100.2. I had a fever yesterday as well and did not feel up to writing yesterday. But I am feeling much better today, I  have not had a fever, just a runny nose and cough.

Anyway I love fall! I love the cool weather, which means sweatshirts, scarfs and hot drinks like apple cider and hot chocolate. It also means the leaves will start changing color and falling, and that means Bradley and I will be close to taking our engagement pictures. But for todays post I wanted to do like a little inspiration of things related to fall from Pinterest. I will show you some cute decor or DIY projects you could do that would be cute around the house, clothes I would love to wear, drinks that would be great to make and anything else related to fall.

Wine cork pumpkin

Mason jar

Glitter leaf garland

Cinnamon scented pinecones

Slow cooker caramel apple cider

Copycat Starbucks salted caramel hot chocolate

Apple cider floats

Caramel apple sangria

Apple cider punch

These are just a few of the things that inspired me to do this post and a look into what I love about fall; What I would love to make, what I would love to wear and drinks I love and want to make. Let me know of things you love about fall. Also I’ll leave you with these as well. I hope you enjoyed todays posts and I’ll see you back here with another post soon, which I am pretty sure is my September favorites.

Craft haul from my birthday!

Hello Lovely Readers!

Welcome back! In my last post I mentioned I was going to finally show the stuff I got around my birthday which was May 9th. I know long over due but here it is.

I have been using a planner since for a long as I can remember. Probably since 6th grade at least. When I was in school though I would just use them for school work. I was still a kid, what important things did I have to do. Then came college, I had all my school work in their still but I now worked and had other responsibilities.

Now that I am not in school, I still have a planner and write my work schedule out, doctors appointments and everything else that is important. I even include to do lists if I need to do something that day.

Anyway at first I started just writing down everything I needed to do and things going on. I was on Pinterest or YouTube one day and was looking at Planner things/videos and someone was using stamps for planners. I was into stamps so I figured I would give them a try and see how expensive they were. I got my first planner stamps at SweetStampShop. They had so many different sets and I loved them.

But around my birthday I was on Blitzy and they had Kelly Purkey planner stamp sets on sale. They were pretty much the same as my old ones but had different stamps as well. So I decided to try those ones too. I didn’t want to order from Blitzy but if I had to I would. But guess what?? They were selling some of her planner stamps at JoAnns. SCORE! JoAnns is so close and I had a 20% off everything coupon for my birthday. They didn’t have one or two of the sets I wanted so I ordered them off her website but here are all the sets I got from JoAnns and her website, along with the stamp pads.

Then just recently I also go three more of the sets lol

I also have two more but I don’t have the packaging anymore but I will have a link below for both stamp sets and the website I got them. I am in love with these stamp sets and use them on my monthly layout and in the weekly. Also not only does she sell planner stamps but stamp sets for scrapbooking, kits for scrapbooking and digital products. I hope in the future I can get more of her stuff or more of her stamp sets.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know if you love planners as much as I do and how you write in yours? Do you use pens and pencils. Or do you use stamps as well like me. On a side note, I hope to get a post up before I leave of how I use the stamps and a look into my planner. If not I will post it when I get back along with my travel diary if I can’t post each day while I am there.

Blitsy Haul #2 + a Michael’s Haul

Hello wonderful readers, I am back again with my second Blitsy haul as I promised. If you don’t remember my first haul, I bought 3 stamp sets. This haul I got 8 Dylusions Ink sprays and 20 bottles of Stickles. When I received my package though, one of the Dylusions was broken already and leaking. I’m hoping I can get a new one soon. Here is a picture of all the Dylusions Ink’s and the names of each.

First picture, top row: Squeezed Orange, Polished Jade & Pomegranate Seed-bottom row: Chopped Pesto, Tangerine Dream & Calypso Teal

Second picture: Dirty Martini

Broken Dylusions ink: Bubblegum Pink

First picture: Twilight, True Blue, Frozen & Sea Glass

Second picture: Crushed Pineapple, Starry Night, Enchanted & Purple

Third picture: Blue Bayou, Ice Blue, Waterfall & Wonderland

Fourth picture: Shamrock, Green, Cool Mint & Disco Ball

Fifth picture: Thistle, Magenta, Raspberry Tart & Glisten

Now that all my goodies are in I cant wait to start using them and I get to add more swatches to my swatch book that I made. If you haven’t checked out Blitsy you should. Each day at 10am they post new sales that can be up to 70% off. And the deals last for about a week or so. It’s a great website to buy craft items for cheap and buy items that might not be sold in stores. In case you want to check it out here is the website.

As if I need more craft supplies, Bradley and I went to Michael’s today and I got some more goodies. I got some washi tape sets that they always have, some new Valentines washi tape sets and new paper pads.

In the first picture the two washi tape sets that have Tan and Brown packaging are sets that Michael’s has had for awhile. The White and Red package is the new Valentines set. The second picture are the new washi tape sets of 7 different patterns.

The two paper pads I got are by Crate Paer and Dear Lizzy and both so CUTE. The first paper pad is called Hello Love and the second is called Documentary. There were many other cute paper pads that were summer theme but decided on just these today. Bradley and I are going out shopping again tomorrow I think and I might check a different store and see if they have them.  I have also seen pastel set washi tape and paper pads, so maybe I will be able to find those . If not I will be fine with the summer pads. I hope you enjoyed today’s post. And don’t forget to check out what I got for Christmas, that I am writing right now as you are reading this or it will already be posted by the time you read this.

Christmas countdown craft

Hello wonderful readers! When I was younger I was so excited for Christmas to arrive. Starting in November I would start making a countdown and cross off the days as they went. To this day I still make a countdown. Yes, I am 24 but I still get excited over waking up Christmas morning and seeing all the presents downstairs. As well as the anticipation of what I got. This year I decided to made a countdown with my Cricut. IMG_1429

Once they were made, I knew that since I took my time I didn’t want to throw them away after. So this year I am going to take a picture each day of Bradley and I, or things we are doing that day. I will then put the card in my scrapbook along with the picture so I get a use out of the cards and so I can scrapbook as well. I am excited to work on it once I get the pictures printed off. Along with the whole craft thing I have a little haul for you. Some of the youtubers I watch have mentioned they shopped on a website called Blisty. I checked it out and always found stuff I wanted to buy but never bought it. Finally on Black Friday I bought some stuff. With all the orders placed on Black Friday my orders got backed up. I finally got one of my orders that was 3 stamp sets. I got two Kelly Purkey stamp sets (Food Planner and TV Planner) and a Technique Tuesday stamp set (Foodie).

I am excited to start using them in my planner and I can’t wait till my next Blitsy order arrives. I just got an email actually on Friday and it is supposed to be here on the 23rd. When it arrives I will show you a haul. I hope you had a great weekend and are getting excited for Christmas on Friday. Also come back tomorrow for a updated list of my Disney Infinity Characters and Playsets.
